The Founder

Marilena Shambarta is the Founder of Marilena Shambarta Law Firm and a qualified lawyer since 2013.
She is a member of Cyprus Bar Association and Nicosia Bar Association with over 10 years of experience.
She holds an LLB from the University of Southampton, UK and a Master in Law (LLM) from the University of Nottingham, UK, specialising in commercial and intellectual property law.
Marilena is also a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner, qualified to act, inter alia, as a liquidator of Cyprus companies and to advise on matters relating to insolvency law.
Marilena is also a board member and the secretary of the Cyprus Insolvency Practitioners Association with active participation in the actions of the association.
She is also an accredited Mediator from the Ministry of Justice and a member of the Cyprus Consumer Center for Alternative Dispute Resolution.
She has also obtained a Certification in AML from the International Compliance Association.
Prior to establishing her own practice in 2022, Marilena worked at reputable law firms in Cyprus, gaining extensive experience in corporate and commercial law, intellectual property, insolvency, and real estate/property transactions.
